Crowdfunding: How to tell your story for a successful campaign

Successful crowdfunding starts with compelling storytelling. Bertie Herrtage shares tips on engagement with your community business project

Date and time: to

Location: Online event

Organisation: Plunkett UK

Whatever the size of your funding target, crowdfunding can be a great way to raise money and generate community engagement…if you tell your story powerfully.

Bertie Herrtage, The Crowdfunding Coach, has coached over 900 campaigns raising more than £10 million and now works independently to help purpose driven organisations raise funds, grow their audience and tell their story with impact.

This session will cover introducing crowdfunding to your community business, and how to plan, create and run your crowdfunding project, brought to life with projects that Bertie has guided. We will also hear from The Old Forge in Knoydart about their approach to marketing their crowdfunding campaign, with hints on how you too can successfully crowdfund.
