There are now many social investment programmes and products being offered to social enterprises, developed to support growth and deliver positive social impact.
The Scottish Government, Firstport, Foundation Scotland and Scottish Edge are social investment organisations in Scotland that are occupying this space, offering grants, loans, start-up support and mentoring to Social Entrepreneurs.
This short introductory session aims to demystify social investment; connecting you to social investment funders and exploring whether this blended investment model could enable your social enterprise to grow and thrive. There will be plenty of item allocated for Q & A and so come along with lots of questions.
ACVO is the Third Sector Interface for Aberdeen City. They exist to develop, involve, represent and support the voluntary, charity and social enterprise organisations in Aberdeen and are one of 32 Voluntary Interfaces (TSI’s) created throughout Scotland and represent what is often called the “Third Sector”.
