The draft Circular Economy Strategy for Scotland sets out the rationale and benefits of a circular economy for the environment, the economy and for communities..
It provides a high-level framework for Scotland’s transition to a circular economy, setting out a broad vision and outcomes as well as priorities across policy mechanisms, priority sectors, product stewardship and a monitoring and indicator framework.
The Circular Economy (Scotland) Act 2024 requires Ministers to prepare a circular economy strategy to support Scotland’s transition to a zero waste and circular economy – and now is the time to share your thoughts.
