Natural Narratives Session #6 – ‘My Life with Animals’ by Polly Pullar (Speaker Presentation)

Our aim is to bring together our communities during the long, dark winter months to engage in educational activities and discussions focused on a variety of environmental topics. Sessions will run on the last Friday of each month from September to March (excluding December). We kindly ask for a minimum £1 donation to book a ticket for each event, and further donations are greatly appreciated to help cover our costs. Our hope is that we all leave each session with new ideas about how each of us can make a difference for Scotland's wildlife, nature, and climate.

We are excited to give a warm welcome to Polly Pullar, a renowned naturalist, conservationist, writer, nature photographer, and wildlife rehabilitator from Highland Perthshire. You might know her from her books exploring Scottish wildlife and nature, such as “The Horizontal Oak,” “A Scurry of Squirrels,” or “A Richness of Martens.”

Polly will be speaking about her experiences with Scottish wildlife. Please join us for this unique and exciting opportunity to meet one of Scotland’s influential conservationists!

After Polly’s presentation, we will be holding a Q&A session with her where you can ask any burning questions about her life, books, or perspectives on ecological restoration. There will also be an opportunity to buy some of her books too!
