Rural Business Forum: Beyond the Village – Taking Rural Business Global

This year’s Rural Forum is focused on encouraging rural businesses to explore exporting and international trade opportunities.

Sessions will provide a practical introduction to exporting for rural businesses, focusing on how to assess your export readiness, understand routes to market and identify potential barriers and opportunities. Kristell and Peter will also highlight the wide range of support available through Scottish Enterprise — from early-stage guidance to funding and international connections — helping rural businesses take confident steps into global trade.

Sessions will explore how Forth Valley Chamber supports rural businesses to engage with international trade through its trade missions and global connections. Lynn will share how these missions work in practice, the types of businesses that can benefit and how smaller rural enterprises can build global confidence and connections through the Chamber network.
