Scotland to host the 6th European Rural Parliament in 2025

Scotland will be hosting the sixth European Rural Parliament (ERP), bringing a 40-country delegation to Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Cairngorms National Park area in the Autumn of 2025. The ERP is a large-scale participative democratic process, set up to amplify the diverse voices of rural and island people in Europe.
This is the first time Scotland has been selected to host the ERP gathering, and 2025’s theme is ‘Rural Community Solutions to Global Challenges’.
The primary ERP venue will be Inverurie Academy, a modern community campus and school, with stunning facilities; study trips will be located across the region, and travel bursaries will be provided.
