Digital tools can help you involve more people, collect clearer information and make it easier for communities to take part.

This online session will introduce practical digital tools for community engagement, including Community Map Scotland and Placecheck. You will explore how interactive maps and other simple tools can support your project or community-led plan.

You will learn about:

• Digital tools for gathering community views, including Community Map Scotland and Placecheck

• Ways to reach people who may not attend meetings

• Choosing the right tool for your community and project

• Making digital engagement accessible and inclusive

• Using the information you collect to support a project or community-led plan

By the end of the session, you will have:

• New ideas for collecting a wider range of community views

• A better understanding of the digital tools available

• Practical approaches you can use in real-life projects

• More confidence in planning inclusive digital engagement

This session is ideal for anyone who wants to gather more meaningful information from their community without relying only on meetings.

There will also be time to ask a few questions at the end.
