Organisation: SCCAN

Previous session on climate communication focused on the universal values that appeal to most people. This session draws on research done by Climate Outreach to look at the language, framing and narratives that are more likely to appeal to a mix of different perspectives and experiences of people in your community.

Are you wondering why you always get the same crowd at your events? Do you wonder why your urgent messaging seems to be falling on deaf ears?

Bring your communication challenges, and work on them together in small groups, checking for the red herrings that can alienate people and find the language and values that will make your ideas and events more relevant to more people.

For any queries about this event, including special accessibility requests, please email events@sccan.scot.

This is part of the Talking Climate with Everyone series, and you can check the other events in the series here.
