Writing Horror from HistoryHow do we include real historical events in our horror writing, without indulging in sensationalism? How do we make facts fictional, whilst also respecting the root of these stories?
In this lively workshop, we’ll discuss horror’s tradition of taking inspiration from real life, and explore how we can continue that tradition in a way that feels generative, constructive and intersectional without losing horror’s edge.
No need for experience, just bring along a playful mind and pen and paper! Drinks and snacks provided.
