Peatland and Next Generation funds open for applications
Peatland and Next Generation funds are now open for applications.
The financial support that offered for training courses has proved to be very popular, but you can still apply for both the Peatland Training Fund and the Next Generation Practical Training Fund.
The Peatland Training Fund has been established and funded by Peatland ACTION to support the development of a skilled workforce across the expanding peatland restoration sector in Scotland.
You can normally apply for £1000 at a time (at 50% of total course costs), but we will also take applications for courses that are over £1000.
The Next Generation Practical Training Fund aims to support those who have started on their agricultural path within the past five years and who are undergoing or have just completed formal sector-related education.
Funding for 100% of costs is available for training up to the value of £500 per course, but we will also take applications over the value of £500.
