New Website Showcases the Impact of Community-Led Local Development
New Tyne & Esk website showcases local projects, funding opportunities and the impact of community investment across East Lothian and Midlothian.
Communities across East Lothian and Midlothian can now explore the work of the Tyne & Esk Community Led Local Development Programme through a newly launched website designed to make information, resources and funding opportunities more accessible than ever.
The new website, www.tyneesk.co.uk, brings together everything visitors need to know about the programme, its funded projects and the positive difference Community-Led Local Development is making across the region.
The website offers a range of interactive features that allow residents, community groups and organisations to learn more about the programme and the opportunities available. Visitors can meet the members of the Local Action Group (LAG), take an eligibility quiz to find out whether their project could apply for funding, and explore an interactive map highlighting projects that have received support across East Lothian and Midlothian.
The site also features a collection of project films, giving organisations the chance to share their experiences in their own words and demonstrate the impact funding has had on their communities. Users can learn about the Social Value Engine, a tool used to measure the wider social, economic and environmental benefits of investment, and discover how funded initiatives are helping to create lasting positive change.
The launch provides a valuable new platform for showcasing the creativity, dedication and achievements of local people and organisations. From community facilities and environmental projects to initiatives supporting local economies and wellbeing, the website highlights the breadth of activity being delivered through the Tyne & Esk Programme.
By bringing project information, resources and success stories together in one place, the new website aims to inspire future applicants and encourage communities to explore how Community-Led Local Development can help turn local ideas into reality.
Everyone is encouraged to visit the website and discover the inspiring projects, people and communities that are helping to strengthen and improve the region.
The Programme has also introduced a new dedicated email address for all enquiries and correspondence: tyneesk@eastlothian.gov.uk.
