The Scottish Wildlife Trust is recruiting for two exciting roles at its Inverbroom Reserve near Ullapool, offering a chance to contribute to one of Scotland’s most ambitious landscape-scale restoration projects.

Ecologist (Fixed Term until Feb 2027) This role supports the development phase of the Inverbroom initiative, overseeing habitat and species surveys, including NVC, breeding birds, protected mammals, and invasive species. Applicants should have strong ecological survey experience and knowledge of Scottish habitats. Apply by 12th November 2025.

Natural Heritage Officer (Permanent) This position focuses on practical conservation and reserve management, including infrastructure checks, remedial works, and public engagement activities. Candidates should have countryside management experience and relevant certifications. Apply by 12th November 2025.

Both roles offer flexible working hours, paid volunteer days, and a weekly wellbeing hour. Interviews are scheduled for late November at Inverbroom.
