Share Your Climate Story with SCCAN’s Storytellers Collective

Mini-grants to support sharing stories of community-led climate action.

Are you a storyteller, podcaster, writer, or visual creator passionate about climate action and social justice?

The Scottish Communities Climate Action Network (SCCAN) is offering £250 mini-grants to support contributions to their inspiring “1000 Better Stories” initiative.

These grants are designed to help Scotland-based creatives join the growing Storytellers Collective, a vibrant community using storytelling to spotlight community-led climate solutions and amplify underrepresented voices. Whether you want to produce a podcast episode, blog post, short film, photo essay, comic strip, or audio walk—SCCAN welcomes diverse formats that bring local climate action to life.

To apply, submit a written or recorded proposal outlining your story idea, its relevance to climate action or social justice, and how it connects to SCCAN’s mission. Applications are open to anyone based in Scotland, especially those highlighting SCCAN members or engaging less-heard communities.
