The fund, delivered by the Forth Valley & Lomond Youth Local Action Group (YLAG), is designed to help young people turn community-focused ideas into reality.
The programme is open to people aged 18 to 30 who live, work or study within the Forth Valley and Lomond region. Funding is available for projects that will make a positive difference in local communities and address issues that matter to young people.
Applicants can apply for up to £750 as individuals, while groups working together on a project can seek up to £2,000, with larger sums potentially considered in exceptional circumstances.
The fund aims to support a wide range of youth-led initiatives, including community improvement projects, wellbeing and mental health activities, creative programmes and other opportunities that benefit local young people. By providing financial assistance, the scheme seeks to make it easier for young people to develop and deliver projects that create meaningful change.
Applications are now open and will close on 19 July 2026. Successful applicants will receive support to help them develop and deliver their projects within the programme’s timeframe.
YLAG members are encouraging youth organisations, community groups and local partners to promote the fund widely and help ensure as many eligible young people as possible are aware of the opportunity.
