Organisations, communities and land managers with an interest in hosting beavers are being encouraged to come forward as the population continues to expand across Scotland.
People who manage areas of Scotland’s land and freshwater can apply for a new award that shows they’re protecting nature and helping to tackle climate change.
Projects expanding woodland, restoring saltmarsh and peatlands, and protecting threatened species awarded NatureScot and The National Lottery Heritage Funding.
Nearly 12,000 crofters across Scotland are receiving information packs to their homes, filled with advice and support, to help them secure crofting for future generations.
