Local Action Groups
There are 21 Local Action Group (LAG) spread across rural and island Scotland.
These LAGs previously managed the EU LEADER programme within their respective areas to support Community Led Local development (CLLD). However, with Scotland dragged out of the EU against the will of its electorate, EU funding is now no longer available.
To maximise the knowledge and expertise of the LAG structure within Scotland and to continue to support CLLD, the Scottish Government is working collaboratively with the LAG membership to deliver future CLLD funding.
Below you can get links to information on the 21 LEADER programmes (2014-20) in Scotland.
